A community is a group where its members share interests or a locality. A contribution is the act of giving something. By what measure should we determine whether businesses or individuals contribute to a community? If we defined contributing as providing a product or service that enhances people's lives, direct sellers are key contributors! They offer personalized service and generally appreciate individual consumers more than larger businesses. I find it interesting that direct sellers were singled out as not contributing to the community.
